The Super Duper Sessions

In yesterday's posting, I made reference to five misconceptions found in music and one of those is that today's music is actually better than some would ever admit. A name I should have added to prove my point is Sondre Lerche. Although I haven't heard his recently released album, I am a big fan of previous albums like Don't Be Shallow, Faces Down and the Duper Sessions. He's a jazz vocalist with more than just a hint of rock in his music. The thing that grabs me is his voice: although there's a certain rasp around the edges, its undeniably smooth.

Here's his website.
